[Solved] Error: "The extruder motor reached its maximum power"

Hi there,

While trying a new material after devoclean, which normally melts at 180°C; I had this message displayed on the screen: the extruder motor reached its maximum power.
Is it possible that the material didn't melt and couldn't be extruded so it stopped the extruder from moving?  Should i just increase the temperatures to ensure an efficient melting?

For your information, the material is a pharmaceutical polymer.

Best regards,
Andrea

Hello Andrea,

Did you get the error message directly after your machine started extruding or was it after a while?

What material was inside the machine when you started the extrusion?

It is good to note that the machine starts extruding when it enters a range of 5 degrees C from the temperature set point. It could be that the material that was inside did not melt (sufficiently) at that poin.

Kind regards,

Timo

Best regards,

Timo

Hello,

Thank you very much! I had just to increase the extrusion temperature to let the extruder turn. Problem seems to be solved!

I would like to ask if we can still get access to a 45 min online training. Is it something we should have bought when we purchased the machine or can we buy it now? Please let me know.

Thank you.
