[Solved] Nozzle

Hi,

are there nozzles with smaler sizes available?

Would it be possible to extrude 1.75 filament with a 2mm nozzle faster? I think smaler diameters could be cooled down better.

Hi Gerd,

We indeed have smaller nozzle sizes available. In some cases it can definitely be beneficial to use a 2mm nozzle when extruding 1.75mm filament. This will mean that the filament does not have to be pulled that much to reach the desired diameter. For cases when the filament is too brittle (breaks easily upon cooling/pulling) due to the materials' properties or fibre/additive content, or you just need more pressure buildup in the extruder, a 2mm nozzle is a good option. I have asked my colleague to get in touch with you privately regarding the nozzles!

Kind regards,

Timo van der Laak

Best regards,

Timo
