Hi, are there any solutions to optimize cooling. I am thinking about 3D printing parts, external fans or other solutions.
Any tips are welcome.
We indeed have developed an STL file for a 3D-printed 'circular cooling' add-on, as also mentioned in paragraph 2.4 of the Article about oval filament.
Attached you can find the STL file. This can be printed with any material, but bear in mind that it could happen that it gets in contact with hot filament (so a higher temperature resistance would always be beneficial). What materials are you currently working with and which problems are you encountering?
Please let me know if you have further questions about this!

Hello @juliendoolaeghe ,
Thank you very much ; this is excellent feedback.
You are right, it would be easier for the reader to have immediate access to the device decribed in a given article. I will "patch this hole" as soon as possible 😉
Extrusion being a vast topic, we have quite a lot of articles, and are doing our best to keep all of them updated.
Is there anything else I can help you with ?
