Filament Maker X10 – Direct PC or Laptop Connection

This provides a simple setup for accessing the X10's monitoring and remote-control interfaces without connecting the machine to a local network.

 The Filament Maker X10 can be connected directly to a PC or laptop using an Ethernet cable. 

 Connect the X10 Directly to a PC

  1. Power on the Filament Maker X10.
  2. Wait for the machine to complete the boot process.
  3. Open the machine Settings.
  4. Change the connection type from DHCP to Static.
  5. Connect an Ethernet cable between the X10 and the PC or laptop.

Once connected, the PC or laptop can be used to access the available X10 interfaces.
