Dashboard view for InfluxDB

Use these powerful dashboard settings to track extrusion experiments with great accuracy.

The dashboard contains an overview of all data queried from the Filament Maker TWO. These dashboards can be edited, re-arranged and new queries can be added.

Tip: Have you accidentally deleted the dashboard or are you looking for new and improved graphs to review your data?

Open the default dashboard

  1. Click the title "FM2 Dashboard" to open the selected dashboard.
Note: Do not click the 'delete' and 'settings' icons, as they may alter the default dashboard.

Tip: New dashboards can be created and imported using the 'Create dashboard' menu in the top-right corner.

Dashboard overview

The dashboard contains data on the heaters and temperatures, puller wheels, filament diameter and more. Scroll down to view all queries available. The menu in the top-left corner can be used to change the user experience:

  • Add cell: Add new information to the dashboard.
  • Add note: Place notes into the dashboard.
  • Hamburger menu: Change to 'presentation' mode, and swap between light and dark mode.

Data refresh

The data displayed can be narrowed down to ensure it can be monitored closely while performing extrusion experiments. Change the history scale and the refresh rate to get better insights.

Set auto refresh

Click the 'set auto refresh' button in the top-right corner menu. A pop-up allows to define the refresh rate:

  1. Refresh interval: Change how often the data on the screen should refresh.
  2. Inactivity timeout: Set when the dashboard stops refreshing automatically.
  3. Click 'confirm' to apply the changes and return to the dashboard screen.

Data history

Click the icon that represents the data range, which is set to 'past 1h' by default.

  1. Set the required data range, from the list available by default.
  2. Alternatively, use 'customer time range'  to set a specific data range to find or specify a moment in the extrusion experiment to investigate.

Export data

Note: The Filament Maker TWO stores data for a limited amount of time.

Annotations

Tip: Use annotations to log experimental observations that affected your data. Ensure that "Enable annotations" is on in the top-left corner menu. Hold "Shift + left click" in your graph at your desired timestamp, and add your notes!
