The hopper of the Filament Maker TWO is designed as a safety feature to prevent the possibility to touch the screw by hand. The hopper ring is detected by the machine and if it is not present, the Filament Maker TWO will halt operation and show an error.
Caution: Installing the hopper ring on your machine surpasses its safety features. Use the hopper ring is at your own risk. Never insert foreign objects or hands into the machine.
Install custom hopper ring
- Download the STL or STEP files from the links below.
- (Optional) Use the STEP file to modify the ring where required.
- 3D print the file with the following printing profile:
