Learn which safety clamps to check when the Hybrid interlocks prevents the machine from operating.
The GP20 Shredder Hybrid interlocks ensure the safety features of the components are all in place, before operating the machine.
The hopper
- Place the hopper on top of the machine and ensure the safety pin aligns with the gap. Insert the safety pin fully until the hopper is level.
- After inserting the safety pin, lock both clamps tightly to ensure the safety pin and hopper stay in place.

Shredder and Granulator
Note: The Shredder and Granulator have to be carefully aligned when installing the machine. If the safety pins or clamps are misaligned, do not force it. Please follow the installation procedure at step "GP20 Hybrid installation instructions" to align the machines correctly.
- Locate the safety knob on the side of the Shredder unit. Turn the safety pin knob anti-clockwise to loosen the pin.
- Insert the pin fully with a downward motion into the Granulator safety lock gap.
- Turn the knob clockwise to secure it.
- Locate the safety knob on the side of the Granulator unit. Turn the safety pin knob anti-clockwise to loosen the pin.
- Insert the pin fully with a upward motion into the Shredder safety lock gap.
- Lock the two machines in place with the two clamps.

The container
- Hang the container below the machine and ensure the safety pin aligns with the gap. Insert the safety pin fully until the container is level.
- After inserting the safety pin, lock both clamps tightly to ensure the safety pin and container stay in place.
All interlocks secured.
