New Long Nozzle for the Filament Maker TWO

Part of the 2025 Q3 Optimization Kit, the new 3mm nozzle prevents leaks, ensures steady flow, is easier and safer to change, and protects the machine’s components.

Why the new long nozzle?

  • Stops leaks, even with high pressure.
    The longer design seals better, which prevents material from leaking out during extrusion.
  • Keeps the flow steady and reliable.
    Because there are no leaks, the plastic flows smoothly, giving more consistent filament quality.
  • Easier to change nozzles (no need to remove the heater).
    The nozzle can be swapped without taking out Heater 4, saving time and avoiding risk of damage during maintenance.

Important note:

Please note that this is a new nozzle design compared to the old nozzle and adapter subassembly. Pictured below are the differences. We already have an existing article that details how to change the old nozzle.

To swap out the old nozzle with the new nozzle, you will have to follow the instructions from both guides. The main differences is that Heater 4 (diehead heater) must be removed to access the old nozzle design. This is not an issue for the new nozzle.
